Google’s Pixel C tablet gets a huge price cut in the UK, still $599 in the US

It’s been nearly 2 years since Google released a proper tablet. Don’t get me wrong, the Pixelbook is a great machine, but sometimes a tablet is just better at times. I absolutely loved my time with the Pixel C back in the day, but it’s 9 price in 2017 is just ridiculous. Now, Google is giving its only tablet a price cut… at least in the UK.

Improved multitasking is finally coming to Chrome OS’s tablet mode with split-screen snapping

With every new Chrome OS device that’s released, it seems like there’s either a touch-screen, 2-in-1 design, or both to add functionality beyond the traditional laptop form factor. Thanks to a recent discovery within Chrome OS’s Developer Mode, you can now use split-screen snapping for proper touch-friendly multitasking when using a ChromeOS device as a tablet.

Earlier today Lenovo unveiled a new version of its Yoga Book tablet from last year, the Yoga A12. The new larger, more affordable machine offers lesser specifications, but with the added screen real-estate and larger footprint the update makes total sense. My biggest question? Why is this not a Chromebook?

We haven’t seen too many small tablets over the last year or two, mainly because our phones are getting larger, negating the need for an equally expensive slightly larger screen for most people.
