New ASUS Chromebook pops up on Newegg for $499, possibly a successor to the Chromebook Flip

Even with Andromeda potentially on the horizon, we’re still looking at some awesome things in the Chrome OS world. Android apps are slowly making their way to current Chromebooks, new models have recently hit the market, and even more are on the horizon. Huawei trademarks ‘Huawei 7P’ hinting at possible Nexus 6P successor

We’re pretty big fans of the Huawei-made Nexus 6P, even arguing at one point earlier this year that it was the best Android device available. Now, if a trademark filing is any indication, Huawei appears to be planning some sort of successor to the device as the company this month has filed for a new trademark for a device named the “Huawei 7P” (via Phandroid).

Bug report suggests that LG is manufacturing rumored Pixel XL successor ‘taimen’

A report earlier today suggested that Google shelved “muskie” — the presumed Pixel XL successor — in favor of a another rumored device codenamed “taimen.” After digging into the Android Issue Tracker, we now have reason to believe that LG might be the manufacturer of this larger phone.
