Google appears to be testing new ‘Dashboard’ feature in Google Now to show data from other services

After adding new features over the past several months, it appears that Google is testing yet another new option for Google Now. This new tab, labeled “Dashboard”, will apparently be used to pull information from other Google services such as Keep, Gmail, Google Photos, and others to bring all of that information into one central location.

Google is apparently working on a competitor to the Amazon Echo Show

Earlier today we received a pair of juicy tips via email that we couldn’t yet verify, and they mentioned a potentially important forthcoming Google product that we’d only heard whispers about once before: a competitor to the Amazon Echo Show.

Now, thanks to TechCrunch’s apparent quick corroboration, we know that this information likely paints an accurate picture of Google’s plans for such a device. Apparently Google has an Echo Show competitor in the works with a 7-inch display and support for lots of its own services.

New images reportedly show off BlackBerry’s last QWERTY Android smartphone

BlackBerry made its debut in the Android space just over a year ago (13 months tomorrow, in fact), but its efforts in the market haven’t been particularly successful. The BlackBerry Priv was a fantastic option and the DTEK50 and DTEK60 are solid, secure, affordable devices. Sales, though, aren’t all that impressive. Google Analytics now uses machine learning to show you personalized reports automatically

Today Google has introduced a nifty new reporting feature to its Google Analytics app, “Automated Insights.” With the new feature, the app can now show specific reports, which previously would have taken hours to create, as soon as the app is opened.

Following anti-Semitic videos, Google removes PewDiePie from Preferred ad service & cancels YouTube Red show

Yesterday, Disney ended its deal with popular YouTuber PewDiePie after allegations of anti-Semeitc jokes and content. Now, as detailed by a report from Bloomberg, YouTube is distancing itself from the star, as well.

According to the report, Google is removing PewDiePie’s channel from its premium ad service and canceling his YouTube Red series.

LG V30 ‘Project Joan’ renders show us what 2017’s second LG flagship could look like

LG’s flagships have typically come out on a twice-a-year schedule for the last few years; the G Series hits in the spring, and the V series hits in the fall. While the G series has typically been LG’s “mainstream” flagship offering, the V series has instead gone above and beyond in terms of sheer features and adds things — like its second screen — for those who might want more.
