Leaked HTC brand video reveals possible Vive phone, focus on color, material customization

HTC’s upcoming January 12th event carries a rather generic “for U” invitation. The latest rumors point to three new devices this quarter, with the first possibly being an underwhelming phablet. However, a leaked video from Evleaks shows that HTC might be focussing on customization and possibly a Vive phone.

Sketchy references found in HTC U11 reveal possible codenames for HTC-made Pixel 2

On the HTC side, last year’s Pixel and Pixel XL were internally codenamed S1 and M1, respectively. With HTC widely assumed to be manufacturing at least one Pixel device this year, possible codenames have surfaced and point to the use of a Snapdragon 835 processor and unlocked configuration.

Google investigating inconsistencies with Pixel’s Double-tap to wake, possible quick fix available

Especially with a rear fingerprint sensor, Double-tap to check your phone on the Pixel and Pixel XL was a highly requested feature. Added as part of December’s 7.1.1 update, many users have reported that the Move is quite inconsistent, with Google now investigating and working on a fix.

Teardown reveals and details possible Google Home with a display codenamed ‘Quartz’

A week before the October 4th event, we received a tip that a Google Home competitor to the Amazon Echo Show is in the works. Featuring a 7-inch screen, it would reportedly support a number of Google services. Moto Z registered as trademark with possible announcement at June 9th event

The only confirmed launch from Lenovo’s Tech World event on June 9th is a consumer Project Tango-enabled smartphone. An invite from the reliable MotoHK now also points to a reveal of the next Moto flagship at the event. Furthermore, the Moto Z trademark has just passed (via Droid Life) the US Patent Office.
