ZTE’s ‘Quartz’ Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch leaks out in real-life photos [Gallery]

ZTE was rumored in February to be prepping to launch a new smartwatch by the name of ‘Quartz’, but at the time we only had a low quality to render to show us what the device would look like. Now, thanks to an anonymous tipster for Android Police, we have our first real look at the watch in the flesh…

Google Home users are starting to see Netflix and Photos integration options

Update: Google has made these updates official on its blog.

Google is currently trying to sell people on the idea of a world in which everything can be controlled by their voice. To do this, though, they have to convince customers to purchase their 0 Google Home with built-in Assistant. Just three days ago, Google launched Actions which will allow third-party developers to start integrating their services into Google Assistant.

Based on what we’re seeing now, it would appear that Netflix and Google Photos are the first to take full advantage of this opportunity…

Google Drive for iOS can backup your contacts, photos, and calendar events to make it easier to switch to Android

Switching mobile platforms is a hassle, but Google really wants iOS users to give Android a shot ─ it even designed its flagship phone to attract iPhone fans. Huawei Nexus prototype leaked in photos, corroborates rumors of metal chassis and rear fingerprint sensor

Update: The same source has posted more images of the purported Huawei Nexus, this time showing the bottom half rocking a USB Type-C port. The new USB-C standard is reversible, meaning there isn’t a right-side up and the male side of the cable can be flipped on either side and it’ll still plug into the device. They’re also bidirectional, able to send data and power in either direction. Google announced during its I/O conference that it has been working closely with device manufacturers to introduce phones which take advantage of it.

The purported upcoming Huawei Nexus is one of this year’s biggest rumors so far. It would mark the first time we’ve seen Google partner with a Chinese manufacturer for its ‘Pure Google’ smartphone, and could help the search giant finally get its Play Services running in China. Despite seeing multiple rumors, schematics and leaks, we’ve not seen any real physical evidence of the device’s existence. Until now. Steve Hemmerstoffer has published a couple of photos to his blog showing off what looks to be a pre-release or prototype model of Huawei’s stock Android phone.
